Marie Peters

Marie is the Assistant Director of the Office of Clinical Studies.  Previously, Marie worked at UD with student teachers as a field observer and as a coach for the Alternative Route to Certification Program.  She has also served as department chair and a cooperating teacher during her twenty-five years of teaching secondary mathematics.

At OCS, Marie is responsible for the field placements for students who are working toward their secondary teaching certifications.  She is also responsible for the mandated clearances for all education majors.  She holds a BS in Industrial Administration (Management Information Systems) from Iowa State University, completed the requirements for her secondary mathematics certification at Rowan University, and earned her MEd in Secondary Mathematics from UD.
